WHEN THE BUSINESS INCREASED SO DID OUR NEEDS...

Pains and problems of growth. When the business increased so did our need for additional space for restaurant and general events area. Unfortunately local building code in conjunction with ministry of forestry would not allow for new buildings in our holiday village.

The only solution was to tear down our present restaurant and recreation center and build a multi-story facility. As with many quick solutions ours had a problem, it meant closing down the holiday village for 8 months! Back to the drawing board, we tried building on the existing building, our structural engineers objected, existing building was not designed to carry the load of what we wanted..

Just when we were about to throw up our hands and sacrifice a whole season to build a new building an Architect friend of mine mentioned of a new all aluminum structural (AmpliSpan) system from Libart. Libart, in conjunction with our architects designed a new center for us that exceeded our expectations, it was large enough, with high ceilings, translucent roof and all glass vertical walls, full of natural light and esthetically pleasing to the eye. The best part of the who experience was the professional and timely installation of the project, from the beginning to the end it was installed in 40 days. With very limited disturbance to the guests.
